Connection issue - please help

over the last week i have been getting some very bad lag. Last night the game was unplayable and got disconnected. I ran a WinMTR… can you help me decipher it? Is the problem on my end or my ISP? I’m seeing packet losses on my first line… how can i fix that? Thanks in advance!

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

This is the connection between your computer and your router. You have massive packet loss and latency from the get go. Is your connection to your router wired or wireless? Have you power cycled your router? If you’re wired in make sure the cable is plugged in securely. If wireless you could be picking up interference from other routers or faulty LED light bulbs. If your router is old it could just be on it’s way out.

I’d try pulling the power to your router for say… 5 minutes then plug it back in and see if things improve.

yeah i noticed it was near my router too… so i went to best buy today and bought a brand spanking new router. Came home, installed it and still had the same issue! So i disconected my cable line from the splitter and attached it directly to the wall jack. That fixed it… now i have 0 packet loss. Stupid splitter went bad and was messing up MY PARSE! lol… just glad i fixed it
