The current list of connected realms seems to be out of date. I have a couple of characters on Turalyon that is connected to Moonrunner. But the list I found shows that Turalyon is NOT connected to any other realms.
Blizzard list seems to be up dated. The list also under Forums and at bottom. Turalyon is not connected.

Yet, Turalyon does seem to be connected. I have a personal guild on Moonrunner. But I also have a character on Turalyon that is a member of my guild. Hence, I think they are connected.
Guilds are cross server now. You no longer have to be on the same server group to be apart of a guild.
