If the said make believe money doesn’t matter then you have no attachment to it yes, otherwise you go back against your statement. So again, to hold true to that you’d have to give away your gold - and since your character is make believe - even your character being deleted would mean nothing to you. It’s a silly argument.
If you think nothing affects anything else in an MMORPG, then maybe you should be playing a single player.
