+7 has a 77% HP/Damage modifier.

Okay, so 9’s are timetable in 610 item level. Many people were doing so, some even in lower item level.
615 item level very much so outgears the 9.
The 5-7 item level buffer is not making a difference for obviously a certain amount of people.
Adding 5 more item level is not going to magically remedy inherent mechanical shortcomings.
What analogy could I use here.

The only thing ive said is that to grind your way to 619, is absurd.
The grind to 619 is not as grindy as the grind to mythic gear has been in nearly every previous season ever… but its close… and then you have to do it again to get myth geared. They’ve nealry doubled the grind to get myth geared.

So what will you do with this free mythic gear? Go do world quests and role play with brann going through a delve? You can already do that with 600ilvl. I cleared a +9 delve with sub 600ilvl the first week. Higher numbers isn’t going to all the sudden make you a great player or help you clear anything faster.
You want gear just for paying a sub. That is special access.
You can be like everyone else and just do content.
The fact that many, many people were timing them when they were at said item level or lower 10-20 days ago.

You know you don’t have to start with weathered crests in order to convert, right? I can’t speak for anyone else, but if I ever reach that point I’ll just be converting my weekly runed crests into gilded ones.

I rather this. Gear drops from content you do and you can upgrade doing said content. When you start harder content, get gear and crests for that.
The current upgrade system with all the various crests is like Apple Inc’s ladder pricing scheme.

I cleared a +10 dawnbreaker with 615ilvl a few days ago. It wasn’t difficult, and yes we did overgear it at that ilvl and even smashed it with a full pug.
This means nothing, provide a link to it
