Nah that race was so close that there’s no way you can say Echo wasn’t just as good. It was actually insane how down to the wire it was.

Congrats to them. I remember Team Liquid from StarCraft 2.
Yeah, Echo did insanely well given the time zone difference, EU reset being a day later, and the fact that they stayed up for something like 18 hours today and got as close as 0.3%. This was really a race where either team could have won it, and it’s not unreasonable to argue that Echo would have the world first if they were NA and Liquid was EU.
Overall just really great play from both teams, and also a reminder for myself watching this race that I have absolutely zero desire to ever be at that level of raiding lol. I’m content with AOTC every season and maybe 2-3 bosses on Mythic. The amount of focus, coordination, execution, etc. that these guys need to have is absolutely insane to perform at this level, this early on in the season, being (relatively) undergeared, not having renown buffs and the eventual raid nerfs, etc.

Method went to bed and should be able to come back and beat Hugo for World Third.
After Hugo others will probably need the nurff to get past the King much less Dimensius.

They’ll probably wait another week or so with gear nerfing the fight and a few guilds on it. Insanely close race though, really crazy.
They were honestly screwed IMO. I mean they got such a low wipe but they were pushing well past their time, and the longer they went without a kill the lower the chance they’d get it.
They had no good choice at that point, but the longer each guild went without a kill the more it benefited liquid as they were ruining their ability to progress tomorrow.

What a fight, what a race for world first… In comparison to Gallywix, Dimensius definitely lived up to the hype. NA with first place for all 3 seasons is quite spectacular as well!

Congrats! Now you can spend the next 6 months wondering what else you want to do since you have finished the expansion 
I’ve watched many RWFs, and this was the most exciting one I’ve seen. I got to see Liquid’s final pull live, which was awesome! Congratulations Max and Liquid, and kudos to Echo for making it a great race!

They’re going to farm the raid, sell carries to earn gold for next tier, plan for next season, and bask in the glory of their achievement. All while getting paid to do it. I think they’ll be alright.
