Congrats Blizz, The Pre-patch Event Is Now Actually Fun!

Good job on the quick turnaround, its actually fun to do the event and you have a reason to not least the zone after 5-8 mins. Aside from a few minor issues it’s alot better.

However it’s concerning as to why the event was released in the prior state and why it was a good idea to only spend 5-8 mins in a zone between 90 min timers. Learn from this and don’t do it again.

They will never learn

Some dev jobs have monthly retros. They could do that and discuss the disaster.

Stockholm syndrome hitting hard. Congratulating over something that shouldn’t have been this poorly released in the first place.

I’m congratulating them on changing it so quickly to an actual good state.

In the past they would take months to change something (Conduit Energy in Shadowlands for example).

That being said they have every right to be bashed for how horrible the initial event was.

step 1) release something in a bad state

step 2) fix it to get praised by the community

step 3) repeat

And it’s jerk syndrome to harp on people even after they do corrective steps.

It’s like move on. They were blasted for the wrong which I’ll admit was deserved but now people are still do the “scalding “ even after they changed things for the better.

I’d bet most people if the same happened to them IRL they get annoyed.

A lot of people here just want to spread misery and have others wallow in it with them.

Yeah, it’s much improved.

Woman who has stockholm syndrome claims she doesn’t have stockholm syndrone, she just really really likes the bankrobbers?

Now that is an onion story if ever I saw one.

What do you mean “might not exist”

Stockholm Syndrome isn’t a psychiatric diagnosis and it never has been.

It’s a state of mind. Like, whether or not the origin story was a twisted officer’s attempt to discredit valid complaints or not, Stockholm Syndrome is essentially the same thing as trauma bonding.

Police psychology adviser, who had never met the woman he was diagnosing, invents a term to explain why a woman is more afraid of the police than the bank robbers.

I wouldn’t say its “fun”, but least its no where near as painful to grind out that loom/pets/mount.

1000% this. The devs get a W for this one. Move on.

If they do the same things wrong every single time and only start to undo some of those things after being lambasted for days, then it’s clear that constant and severe negativity is the only way they’ll ever do the bare minimum.

Some observations about repair:
Brought a level 63 alt to dalaran , but was unable to use the toy box hearthstone, thankfully there is a portal by the auction house in Ogrimmar.
Walked straight down the steps to teh portal room in Dalaran’s basement and got the quest from Khadgar.
Teleported to Searing Gorge, just in time to kill a boss and champion pants dropped.
Teleported to Dustwallow marsh and got zone quest , but in the process of killing Onyxia, Battlenet updater kicked in and crashed me and gave me a gear update option on login.
Super mad, I log back in and miss Onyxia drops but get credit for quest complete
After quest turn in I go to Dragonblight to test that boss ( maybe like 2:30 am) and I notice I am now sharding!
Dragonblight boss pops and no lag, super smooth boss kill!
I also notice my level 63 went to level 69 1/2 in about 40 minutes play!
if you don’t mind sacrificing champion drops for your main, this is the most awesome way to level an alt.
I give it an Ebert two thumbs up, GG!

You people are so easy to manipulate. It is not fun and it is a lot more inefficient use of time than it was previously.
