So after mulling it over I decided to get back into WOW before Dragonflight because the new lore/speculation got me. Anyway I left before Anduin got dominated, but I was in Orgrimmar and was curious so I was looking around and in Grommash Hold is Sylvanas the warchief ? I mean this could also have happened because I didn’t finish the story of BFA either so idk. But I have always followed the story/lore even when I’m not playing, so this kinda through me for a loop because even according to were my character is in the story she should be in the Shadowland with Zovaal.
This is a problem I have with some games especially mmos with quests and multiple stories/expansions that cut off other ones but are technically still there. I wish there was a option that would complete stories/quests for you. Like not do it for you with exp or reward but just get it out of the way sort of speak. Ex. you can start an alt and skip to shadowlands but the other story quests are still there and the way the world is some npcs are kinda weirdly effected by it. I wish there was a option that is like “I don’t care about the doing the quests just complete and put the world to the “current state”.”
Like I’m doing the Ardenweald defense thing against Anduin/Sylvanas but in my “world state” in game Sylvana is also in Grommash Hold with the warchief title. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Also I’m the kinda guy that like to do every quest I see but some quest I like dailies or event quest I know I’m never going to do, so an option to hide them would be cool so I can never see them again and think it’s a new quest to get.
