Confusion Over Stable Dailies

(Initially posted in big reports, not really sure where this needs to be)

So I recently started doing the WoD content, and I built the stables today. I finish the first quest to go tame a talbuk, and then log off for a bit. I come back, notice they have another quest, and they send me to go catch an icehoof. So I do that, hop on another character for a little bit, but come back to another quest to go catch another animal.

Another blue quest. That’s three so far today. Are these not dailies? If they are, there’s something wrong. Haven’t done the latest quest, because I don’t know if this is intended or not. Wouldn’t have done the icehoof quest if I had paid attention to quest colors.

Honestly, I think those changes were made a long time ago, but I can’t remember when. If you wish to provide feedback about it, may I suggest either In-Game Feedback tool or General Discussion Forums?

No, these are not dailies. You get six “training” mounts through the quests to go catch/tame a mob. You can get all of these quests immediately (one at a time, but the next one will pop when you finish one).

When you get these training mounts, then you get dailies to kill a mob while using these training mounts. When you finish these dailies, then you get the permanent mounts.

Ok, I found one guide last night that implied you get one mount a day, and then start doing the training quests. I even tried looking for garrison changelogs to see if/when things had changed.

I appreciate the clarification. I was scared I had done something wrong.

Not at all.

I do believe it used to be you could only have one training mount, when WoD was current. But they shortened the grind at some point, so you can complete the six mount dailies at the same time.
