I find the story in the last 2 expansions confusing and hard to follow. I hoped the story will get better this exp but it didn’t. I just can’t bring myself to care for the dragon drama. It’s just not interesting and wtf is even going on?
This is like reading the first 2 chapters of a 20 chapter book and complaining about not knowing what the story is.
It’s still being introduced and a lot of it has yet to be revealed. Give it until season 4 before complaining?
Why can’t I express that I didn’t enjoy what we got so far?
There’s a story?
The writers do, too.
I don’t get anything that happened after BfA.
Which part don’t you enjoy?
Multiple dragons were created, some of which wanted to align with the titans and others against them. The pro-titan group imprisoned the anti-titan group for thousands of years until they eventually escaped with the help of cultists.
Events after the anti-titan group was imprisoned led to the death or disappearance of many titans and pro-titan dragons, which caused the need to rebuild the pro-titan dragon forces.
The remaining pro-titan dragons have to find a way to regain their previous strength in order to defeat the anti-titan dragons again, or else they will destroy most of the humanoid races on Azeroth and return it to the elements.
Because you admitted to not knowing nor caring to follow along to know what’s going on
This is like complaining about a million dollars locked in a box. You see the box and complain about the box without knowing what’s in the box lol.
You can YouTube all the cutscenes for SL and get the gist of the story. The story ends there, and it’s a new unattached story going into DF
Dragonflight seems easier as the Aspects want their powers back and Raz wants to retrieve her siblings.
Now let’s not forget the Dracthyr that feel like remaining powers of the old black dragonflight belong to them for more dragon drama. So now we have 3 separate parties with their own agenda
Like are the titans good or bad? I always thought they were the good guys? Is Raz good or bad?
The Sundered Flame haven’t encountered any dragons yet but will reach their climax far away in Aberrus. They’re a threat but have no effect on the main story much like the Gnolls.
Titans and Titan Keepers have mostly been the good guys.
Raz is evil wanting to destroy the world back to the elements.
I said what I said and this is what I said:
“I find the story in the last 2 expansions confusing and hard to follow. I hoped the story will get better this exp but it didn’t. I just can’t bring myself to care for the dragon drama. It’s just not interesting and wtf is even going on?”
They spied on the Incarnates and Nelths Lab and are gonna try to take the powers within out from under the Incsrnates noses (as per cutscene)
Mutual. They gave “powers” to the Aspects to help protect Azeroth. The Incarnates see that as an affront and think titan touched (anything aside from the elements in which the incarnates represent) is a blight upon the world.
But Azeroth herself is technically a titan, so it’s all a bit hypocritical
Opening the book to introduction is a start.
You see, the universe was created in a giant cosmic 3D printer. You know, fractals within fractals.
It’s all very simple and logical.
The writing team doesn’t actually care about lore consistency. It’s all about rule of cool even if it legitimately ruins itself story wise. There’s a lot of really inconsistent stuff because the people up top want the shounen escalation for threats while also somehow trying to preserve/create mysteries (first ones are basically titans 2.0 for example) to keep people invested in the story.
Its not that black and white.
Dragon Aspects are trying to empower the oathstones because they think it will give them the powers they gave up back.
The primalists hate the Titans and everything they made because they were foreign powers that ordered Azeroth.
That’s it. That’s the story. It’s simple and sweet and doesn’t attempt to concern itself with being convoluted.
What book?
Yeah so… wtf is going on even?
