Confused on what happens when 11.1 launches

All of this correct. However, I believe conquest points are reset, but honor is not.

I have several Crimson Valorstone (contains 100 Valorstones) items in my bag, as well as several Renown turn-in quests I have yet to complete which reward Valorstones. I’m wondering if the Valorstones earned from these quests and items can be turned in/opened after the start of Season 2 and used for upgrading gear earned in Season 2? Anyone have any idea?

I’d hate to save them only to find out that they’re useless and could’ve been spent on Harbinger’s Equipment Chests right now.

Suggestion: copy the character that has these items to the PTR and check there. Since the PTR is set for season 2 that should give you your answer.

My experience from doing exactly that?

Spend them now.

Historically, honor does not reset but conquest does. So you may want to:

  • bank at least 11k honor to be prepped to buy S2 honor gear. I can’t remember if blizz made the honor gear purchasable immediately or if we had to wait a week.
  • use excess honor to purchase Vicious Bloodstones to be a little more prepped for S2 sockets.
  • spend conquest prior to the S1 vendor’s stuff disappearing. The best conquest-to-gold conversion may come from either the Forged Equipment chest or the Bulwark shield.

Not sure what you mean about do PvP stats reset. But we will have new sets of honor gear and conquest gear/heraldries with upgraded ilvls.

Pvp talents reset, you may want to look at your talents at the beginning of the season to see what happened to them. For one, Ring of Fire for mages is getting a big nerf. The changes are in the blue post about the patch.

I just remembered Bloody Tokens. I think those reset? If so remember to spend them.

Yes they get wiped (bloody tokens) and conquest. If your honor is at max and you plan on pvping thru the week, the pvp recipes are a good use of honor to resell at AH. Honor drops like candy anyway.

Also turn on war mode for anything you do in game from the get-go in Season 2. 100 bloody tokens drop from any world quest no matter how easy (I’m looking at you flying disc quest.) A week of that and you’ll have some decent bloody vet gear.

Do Valorstones the Crests reset?

If it’s anything like DF was (and that’s a pretty safe bet) then all your Valorstones are going to go poof when the Crests do.

Undercoins are the seasonal delve currency, you exchange them for gear directly (the boa adventurer tokens for alts) and indirectly (coffer keys for bountiful delves). Not resetting undercoins would let people who held a high amount of them in season 1 gain an advantage buying coffer keys for extra hero track gear in season 2.

Do valorstones/crests get converted to anything?

Honor usually stays during seasons and resets for xpansion releases
