I have an alt that I took to level 70 right away. I want to go to Shadowlands and pick a covenant. The character is 70. I enter Oribos through the SW portal and…nothing. I don’t get asked to skip Threads of Fate, I can’t jump into the maw, and I do not see any quest pick-up in SW to get my started.
What should I be looking for so I can immediately go an pick up a covenant and not have to do the entire SL story?
You need to go to where you start the SL storyline in your faction hub city (org or sw) and pick up the first quest, then immediately talk to the person standing next to them who will give you a skip option that skips the opening scenario and puts you in Oribos.
Then you choose threads of fate from the guy that talks to you and then you should be on your way to picking a covenant.
Ah…that is what was confusing me. I was looking on the Stormwind message board. For anyone who is wondering, you have to head to the steps and meet with the person there to start the quest. Thanks!

No quest lines exist. Shadowlands seems to be blocked.
