The point is if players geared better they could handle twinks better. I didn’t have a problem with most.
But the thing is, there were fewer twinks than you think.
Besides Juga, has anyone else bothered to document their leveling experience and actually examine their teams to see who was “twinking?”
They are simply not as prevalent in the upper brackets as was made out to be, and not all twinks are GY camping/emote spamming bullies.
Some of us made twinks to fight twinks , and actively hunted down the ones who acted like a-holes.
Considering the fact that people still think twinks are in q and are getting destroyed. says it all they just complain
Which is exactly what we said would happen lol.
I had several Bg’s last night that complained that premade twink teams were the reason we lost.

I linked a game that Kang sent me. His first xp on game that was a gy camp and it had twink talk.
Yeah, but many people don’t bother to read patch notes and as far as I can tell this change wasn’t documented. It’s possible they simply didn’t know.

I agree. I think splitting queues at this point was a bandaid fix for a deeper problem.

Totally agree with this.
Yeah I saw things like that when I leveled up through bgs back in MoP. Sometimes though I would put up gaudy numbers because my class was OP at certain times and I had a few heirlooms. Got achieves like wrecking ball just a couple weeks into it (it took me about 4+ months to max level running 3-4 bgs a day back then).
I realized before I even knew what a twink was that it was going to be just plain stupid much of the time. One bracket I’m garbage then hit the next bracket and I’m GOD then hit the next bracket and I’m sort of garbage then GOD again etc.
It was obvious that lower level battlegrounds were not going to be a competetive environment and there was not going to be any effort to make them so. I soon realized it wouldn’t be worth the effort on Blizz’s part to even try and make them so.

Yes it was more than possible an more than likely in the 20-29 or 10-19 bracket to face a opposing team of full on twinks but not so much in all other brackets as much as I saw . There were some at certain points of the day for the 39 bracket but usually there were maybe 2 or 3 per team (both sides) at best .
