There wasn’t much wrong with that response either to be honest. Making your own group has always been an option, especially since OP claims to know everything - shouldn’t be a problem at all.

Wow used to be a linear game where you geared through one part and slowly moves to harder content in a singular line showing you had the abilities to advance.
Now gear is free and that progression system is utterly broken. Anything beyond full titanforged mythic raid gear can be obtained from simply clicking on items randomly in the world.
In wanting free rewards and spamming " Who cares what gear other people get no lifer" we arrive here at the end. When nothing matter and everyone is locked out of content who didn’t arrive at the start of the rat race.
You got your wish… gear doesn’t matter anymore.
Then why can’t you farm 10s or do heroic to boost your ilvl? You know, since it’s so easy.

this is because alot of guilds who run mythics or do heroics use the guilds and or join boosting communities ethier to make millions or to make RL money with said millions.
these Boosting for gold community’s then transfer gold to blizzard balance buy RL items and sell them cheap this is a very lucrative thing to do.
also some will charge RL money but disguise it with a gold purchase and just have a full refund policy if a item does not drop.
you can blame the boosting community’s for this or directly blame blizzard for making tokens convert to balance.
OP is complaining gear matters. They are only 425 and can’t get into groups because that is too low.

It will always be to low till it is full mythic raid level. That is the game we find ourselves in. Even full heroic isn’t enough anymore.

Because people have better gear than that - why should they select OP who has little better than world content gear when they can select people 5 ilvl or more higher than they are.
OP is behind the curve gear wise so of course they aren’t getting invited.
it isn’t 5 though is it? It is likely near 40…
I have no idea, I would have to be the group leader who didn’t invite OP. Maybe you have a crystal ball on that but meh even if I did I wouldn’t waste my time monitoring OPs acceptance into groups.
I feel like some people dont understand how many DPS apply to groups/raids.
