So, let’s say you theoretically get it on a non-fated week. Can you then upgrade it somehow to a Fated version or ilvl?
For example, let’s say I get it on Heroic, which is only 246 ilvl. Will I be able to somehow upgrade it to its Heroic counterpart?
Or if I got the Fated version on Normal, could I upgrade it to Heroic or Mythic Fated-level nwith the material from non-fated Sylvanas?
Seriously, any word on this stuff?
Like… is it worth my effort trying to run EVERY version of Sylvanas to try and get the bow, so I can eventually upgrade it to what I need?
Or should I only run the versions that are going to drop AT the level I need?
I normally don’t enjoy raiding – I pretty much stick with Mythic+ with friends – but I’m just trying to figure out whether I need to make that part of my “weekly ritual”, or is it a waste of time since the weapons that are going to drop from like +15’s are going to dwarf anything that drops from the raid itself? (unless you were ACTUALLY capable of running Fated Mythic Sylvanas, but I feel like that’s going to be out of reach for almost all players).
Last I heard you can buy the upgrade with dinar and turn the original normal/heroic one into the new normal one

No the bow has to be a normal drop, all other non legendary items can be bought.
Okay, so… if I get the bow, let’s say on non-fated Heroic, I could spend my dinar to make it FATED Heroic? And theoretically, if I somehow DID find my way into a Mythic group, could potentially upgrade it to Fated Mythic?
Dinars are only for normal ilvl. You could spend a dinar and a heroic upgrade token to make it heroic fated.
Hmm, don’t suppose it might be possible for a Blue to come in and clarify some of this? Just want to make sure I know what to expect, as I’m sure others do as well.
It was supposed to be a different currency all together. Since they mentioned this no one has even talked about it. I am assuming they will back track on it.
It’d mostly be nice to just understand how it all works beforehand, since a LOT of folks are going to be after the bow now. Without much clarity on what “upgrade-items” exist, or how to use them, or what they ACTUALLY do… seems like a recipe for disappointing or misunderstanding.

You can because it had ilvl boosts when it was added, but that was scaled for unfated sanctum. Worthless.
If you get the bow from a fated raid, you can boost it like any other fated item.

Does the old S2 bow upgrade to S4 or do we need a whole new bow to drop?
I’ve heard it isn’t on the vendor so its a RNG fest again . .hope that buff dropped rate is working well.
Yeah, it’s honestly nothing but questions. Everything else seems relatively straight-forward, but the Bow… there are just SO many questions.
I’ve seen a few Blue comments on this topic, but they just seem to lead to more questions sadly.
