So, at this moment I’m 2450/2450 for season cap, and have 1225 bloody tokens on hand. If I go do the WQ for 500 tokens, should I expect not to get them, making the quest pointless in relation to the tokens?
To answer my own question, yes you get no bloody tokens if season cap is reached, but you have tokens under the cap. This discourages this casual to not want to play, what a bad design, and I was enjoying the laid back approach at gearing. I guess one month is all you get this xpac.

You will not get any bloody tokens over cap, till next week when the cap increases

Bloody coins are incredibly easy to get, and the gear is good, so there’s a cap to prevent people from gearing up to quickly. I’ve used coins to get two solid weapons, and I have no regrets.
I don’t love the cap, but without it people would be using war mode to gear up for PvE stuff, which Blizzard seems to not want.

Also it seems that since it’s not for anything but gear at this point it will become redundant eventually.

The cap don’t increase as much as it should though considering the wq rewards 500 and sparks rewards 1k, make it make sense

I dont know if it is intended or not to be an account wide cap, but I have been coming across this issue. Where I will cap out on one toon, then also be capped out on my alts without actually collecting any tokens.

if you have mulitple toons, toon a is capped, then toon b and the others are not
