It seems to be confirmed no 10.3.
Does that means the next expansion will launch earlier than usual Fall date? He did mentioned more storylines coming soon, but I’m not sure why no 10.3 if more storylines incoming.

The storylines would be done in .5 and .7 patches.

The story will be officially done in 10.2.5. There also might be a fated season. A year of no new continent would be a disaster

Fall 2024 is earliest they’ll do it at. I imagine they still have lots of work to do.
Blizzcon had confirmed by Holly that this will be it and that we’ll get some story sprinkled throughout and for pre patch lead up.
I read the points on the new interview and can’t say I’m interested in the open world stuff. Public events suck and delves are limited, possibly on rotation knowing Blizzard so hard hard hard pass on War Within for me sadly.

Not for me.
I have an idea of how things will turn out for open world which is my main playstyle.
And unless they pull a rabbit out of their proverbial hat, fix professions and gold making in general then it is a hard pass for me.
If history is anything to go by. Delves will be bare bones and basic that is capped and little variation… they’ll test it out on PTR, change a bunch of things that make it worse and we’ll be left with WQ’s again, public events. Yup… hard pass.

Before any of that, 10.3 felt like a logical progression so you can’t fault me for thinking a 10.3 would happen. Seeing now their plans, I can see why there is no 10.3 but ultimately it might come back to bite them. [more condensed expansions]
And the roadmap didn’t say anything about a 10.3.

Tbf that roadmap was explicitly labelled as being their 2023 roadmap.
And theyve said while there isnt a major patch coming, more story will be, and that isnt on their roadmap either.
So you were right, but for the wrong reasons.
Although it should have been obvious to everyone there was no 10.3 the moment a curve mount showed up.

It also said 2023… so I thought at least that they were not finalized on a 2024 roadmap.

Where do you see this? I certainly don’t doubt it, otherwise, I think we would have seen a mention of it yesterday.
Rumors are sprawling from content cut and 10.3 abandoned to that was always the plan.
