Cone Of Cold back for Fire thanks!

Frostbolt is NOT enough. Add longer CD. Blastwave damage boost and snare duration is good but we need 1 extra instant snare with all meleemongo flying around than you. And I have Gpie too. Its clunky and boring. Let me spam Scorch that does damage and fish Pyros.

You seem to want Fire to be incredibly strong in PvP, as if it isn’t already, even if it’s at the expense of PvE balancing based on your Scorch addition.

This isn’t the type of feedback we need right now.

Imo I’d rather have Cone of Cold instead of Frostbolt.

Give Cone of Cold to fire and arcane instead of frostbolt, and for frost maket it freeze the target in place as it was back in cata

I agree, Cone of Cold would be much nicer than Frostbolt, though I’ll take any unpruning I can get.

As far as Gpyro goes… sigh. It’s fun sometimes, but it’s a goofy spell and I feel like its presence is used as a justification for not fixing/improving other parts of fire in PvP. I would trade it away in an instant if there were any level of assurance that it wouldn’t just get removed without the rest of the spec being adjusted to compensate.

Same for Arcane.

Up until Legion, my favorite method of AOE as a mage was to use Cone of Cold to Slow and then spam Arcane Explosion for damage.

It was fun and hectic. The goal was to stay just outside melee range while still inside AE range. We could AOE in this manner since early Vanilla.

In Legion we lost Cone of Cold, but at least we still had Sloooow Doooowwwn so could still AOE farm this way.

But in BFA arcane lost all AOE snares, effectively destroying a method of AOE that had been available in the game since Vanilla.
