Conduit Level 3 Buffs

So when you get your anima conduit to level 3, for night fae at least, you can channel the anima to unlock some buffs. The buffs look pretty decent but they only work in the open world of ardenweald. I would assume the equivalent buffs for the other covenants only work in their zone.

It begs the question… what’s the point? If I can’t use these buffs for raiding, M+, or pvp, why should I even bother? To get them would mean going out of my way to get a buff that’s literally only going to be useful for 5 minutes a day at most for me at the point.

I really only spend about 5 minutes a day in combat in ardenweald if that. Now sure, a skinner may get some good farming use out of it, but anyone else? Once they’re at the point I am, maxed rep with the wild hunt and court of night and almost done with the mushroom guy, they’re probably not spending much time in ardenweald.

Come on blizz, I spent a lot of time and effort to earn these buffs, at least let me use them where they’re going to be useful…

They are hit and miss. I enjoy my venthyr anima conductor world quest. Got my bat mount. Hate the dailies. The greater greedstone is rewarding enough for how quick it is. Don’t care about the buff. Will like the shot at the back cosmetic.

Main reason to get rank 3 conductor is so you have a place to keep channelling to after you lock in 4.

Precisely the reason why I’m saving all my anima for ember court and queen’s conservatory. The others just seem meh.

Best use is for pvp in open world. Otherwise completely worthless

Here’s what I’m doing:

  • Conservatory - rank 3
  • Anima Conductor - rank 2
  • Mushrooms - rank 1
  • Command Table - null

because the conservatory has 5 ranks, its inevitably going to take the longest to max out but atm mine is:

  • Mushroom: Rank 3
  • Conductor: Rank 2
  • Command Table: Rank 1
  • Conservatory: Rank 2

i just made the rank 2 conservatory this week. not sure what im gonna do next week yet. the mission table is … just useless. so i dont really care about troops healing faster or spamming more missions which costs anima, when anima is the problem atm. with the soul keeper upgrades, souls are now very very plentiful with anima being rare.

I wouldn’t be surprised, but I don’t really do world pvp, so that’s kind of a moot point.

Maybe they’re for people that don’t really do these things and spend a lot of time in the open world?

I’m sure those players exist, but how much good is a buff that exists for a single niche set of players that works only in a specific zone?

For me, the buff is just a side effect for unlocking the rare for my cloak cosmetic.

It’s probably to make them not feel ‘obligatory’ for players who do competitive content.

Ah yes, Blizzard’s endless quest to not have meta and failing to understand there will always be a meta.

meta… don’t touch my meta! I stole it first

(i get you haha)

I suppose it does more good for them than it does for you? And they’re probably not as niche as you think, I know offhand at least one person that has that exact playstyle. They don’t exactly do a lot of group content so it would be pretty hard for me to find more.

Niche doesn’t have to be small to be niche.
