Conclave of the Damned February 16 - 22

Whispers, flyers, and correspondence circulate throughout Azeroth

With Gilneas lost and Tirisfal in chaos, the undead are on the backfoot. The time has come for us to put aside old rivalries and look each other in the eye once more. You are cordially invited to Duskwood to attend a Conclave of the Damned. Let the undead of all banners and of all loyalties exist under a truce for one week under the eternal midnight of the haunted woods. -Rhoiene

With recent history of the undead as it is, the former Scourge general Rhoiene has called a conclave in Duskwood. In the face of adversity, the dead must show unity. For one full week, between February 16th and February 22nd, the Duskwood region is open to hosting all manners of undead. It need not matter allegiance - Forsaken, Scourge, independent wanderers, or completely independent factions.

This is a week-long roleplay opportunity to not only meet new people, but also have a distinct reason for attending. While there are three specific events scheduled for the week, personal RPs with others is strongly encouraged!

Undead of all groups and sizes and allegiances are welcome. Some may be willing to put old hatreds aside, others may not be so willing. I am also available via Discord DMs for further organizing.

The Conclave of the Damned is a week-long RP for undead (and living guests) of all colors and stripes! While emergent roleplay is encouraged all week, there are three set events. Politicking, friendship, and conspiracies are encouraged!

Feb 16 - Reception at the ruined temple.

Feb 19 - Meet and Greet Dinner at the Darkshire Inn

Feb 22 - Raven Hill, discussion of a treaty of mutual aid and cooperation

This is an invitation for all undead of all allegiances and interests. While some engage in politics, there are plentiful roles and opportunities, from catering to guards to even musicians. The goal is to make a unique and memorable week-long roleplay hub in Duskwood with a combination of structured roleplay and freeform, emergent roleplay, along with the opportunity to meet new people and establish new relationships in a setting that would normally be not viable.

The in-game point of contact on this is Rhoiene. I’m happy to discuss specific details either here on the forums or via in-game chat, including the filling of particular roles or wanting to pre-plan ahead plot arcs.

Thank you for your time and interest, and I hope to see you there.

(Side note: I had commissioned a really cool banner for this event but my level in the forums isn’t high enough for me to post it, I cri)

I love these dead people. They’re my favorite dead people.

Excellent, there is a lack of diversity in undead RP at the moment, so this is a great opportunity y’all have provided.

Boop.

With February now upon us, I’m wanting to bring attention back to what is hilariously noted by the comments as DeadCon. :tm:

With regards to lodgings, the following will be made available: Individual persons can get rooms at the Scarlet Raven Inn in Darkshire, and individuals or groups can set up tents or campsites on Raven Hill or in the catacombs of Duskwood.

Reservations are not required, but I do encourage persons or guilds to announce they will be participating and share with others - word of mouth is the best of advertisements!

Furthermore, I am looking for volunteers for the following: catering in undead form, entertainment, and guards.

Arriving a couple days early prior to the conclave is also perfectly fine.

Can’t wait to see you all in Duskwood!

SIR THOMAS, CAPTAIN OF THE GUARD!

Etreius also volunteered to guard so I can see the two of them just giving the Bates finger wag at people caught graverobbing.

Define “Grave Robbing.” Cuz, if they decide to… eh… wake up… then follow me home, technically I didn’t rob anything. Would it help if I had a permit?
begins forging documents

That’s not graverobbing, that’s making new friends!

This Sunday is the start of this unholy season. May the activities of those which partake, don’t disturb the souls that haunt those lands. Remember, if youd wave at them, they might attach to you and follow you home.
