I haven’t yet done this fight in Battle of Dazar’alor.

I’m curious, though. Do the Loa themselves fight? Are any killed? I grew rather fond of the Loa from Horde questing. I’d be really bummed if any of them died.

Naw, it’s just a group of trolls that have some aspect of their powers, but aren’t the loa themselves. They don’t make actual appearances outside of images the Chosen create.
