Hopefully with Midnight being elf focused we’ll get some time in the spotlight, though as of the Alpha there are no Nightborne themed mogs, Just Blood and Void elves.
Their racial abilities suck too. Oh, look at me, I can summon a mailbox!
NB should have been a neutral allied race in the first place and properly done with Lightforged draenei just being a customization option for draenei. Just give them haranir’s rigging and such instead, This whole Haranir story should have been retooled as a Druid storyline for all the druids. Probably with Malfurion since he claims to know something after he swapped with Ysera.
I’d prefer it if they gave us better, and more customization options for existing races over these other races if they aren’t going to give us ethereals. Or maybe at least a few more cool options for ethereals.

See I to not have remix go the way of retail regular, or my 2019 series horde, didn’t want to make several blood elves.
I made my MM hunter remix NB, after I capped the blood elf DH anyway lol.
With hard work and time you can find a face and hair that works okay. Not great…but okay-ish.
Chosen to not have 5+ blood elves, again. I get that in tbc part 3 soon. there I break it up, 1 undead rogue.
also chosen since I find night elf bow animation best animation for it. Lore is mid, looks are mid (npc’s look great, pc’s got screwed). Attention from devs they get…disgraceful.
But at least the night elf borrowed bow animation is awesome (to my eyes).
Nightborne have 16 hair colors & styles and Mechagnomes have 7 of each if it makes you feel better lol
Talk about neglect…we don’t even get any of the fun gnomish hair color options, meanwhile Humans can have hair that is green, pink, purple, neon blue…

And my blood elf DH with no ties to the horde besides forced to be there give options. My DH leads the Illidari, I have no gods nor masters. Besides Illidan, ofc. and he is on his own program too.
first arcanist, lets not rush this. allow me to tell all of the freaky crap Sylvanas has done. Tyrande is a moody pita, yes.
Sylvanas, ain’t no saint herself either girlfriend. She made deals with helya (really bad person), tried to enslave an entire race, used plague when order not to and even said she wouldn’t. Also has robbed graves for over a decade to this point to force corpses into her army using necromancy.
First arcanist had a personality conflict with tyrande. First arcanist also had moral and ethical issues with Sylvanas.
there was the lore basis to pick a side. all the tyrande haters can go horde. all the NB’s with moral and ethical issues with the dark lady…choose alliance.
Just like the panda’s. Pick your rp. NB should have gotten this too.
I mean you can select it and remove it from the barbershop — So I don’t see their need to add it on to the heritage gear.
It honestly feels like they intentionally tried to sabotage it for Nightborne players.

Hopefully, Nightborne will get some prominent story appearances in Midnight (if only to explore the hostility between Thalyssra and Tyrande).
I agree it doesnt feel like love. They give some of the best character customization in the game to Lizards human form, and then make the lizard form the main form.
I like the pants from the heritage. and that is it. My hunter just mogs pants and picks other items for top and such.
all the metal junk on head…didn’t fit hunter RP. I don’t need sun glare giving away position reflecting off it rp lol.

I mean, I’d love to use the chestpiece on my Nightborne spellcasters — but the chestpiece’s thing applied to the HEAD, with that BS on the chin just ruins the whole thing for me.
It’s a hard OCD trigger

It was on the armor before they added that character customisation option. They really need to update their heritage set to remove it though. They should also give them more of a proper pants option. Like how they’ve got that second shorter skirt layer on top of their current long skirt. I’d love to be able to have just that with some short shorts. And a version of the male set that actually shows some skin. I don’t know why the playable guys are such prudes compared to the npcs.

The servers were changed in BFA so nothing on the board exists before 2018

I’ve got quite a handful of female friends and guildies who were formerly keen on playing the male Nightborne, thinking they’d change such to make them more appealing, like some of the Night Elf facial features and yet … Such was not the case
