Are they completely removing all racials and simply giving devouring plague and fear ward to all priest? Or are they giving all racials to al priest
Ie: shadowguard, feedback, etc

From the sounds of it, priests will be able to acquire and choose what they want, but they have been very vague about it. We also don’t know if you can take any two or if you have to take one that is normally learned at lvl 10 and one from lvl 20.

You’ll be able to choose which race you want the spells of, and you’ll have only those spells
Every spriest will choose undead and almost every healer will choose dwarf
You won’t be able to have spells from 2 races, only the chosen race

While that’s great, also kinda unfortunate. Especially now that we get dual spec. Just going to have to decide which you prefer. I’m sure most will go fear ward?
I’d go for devouring plague, as fear ward is kinda niche, and DP i’d use almost on cd in a pvp environment
We should be able to switch races, but we don’t know if there will be a gold cost, cooldown or both

Does berserk affect dot tick speed?
nah berserks whatever outside of giga turretting someone at low hp with mind spikes. My shadow guard + MS tho is just so nice to apply shadow weave stacks fast and chances of stun

Hope you enjoy going oom. That spell costs about 1/4 your mana bar. And that’s with a huge amount of intellect.
Although dp has trash scaling as it. With the mana changes to shadow form. We dont go oom.
They’re messing up with racials. My concern is that they get fear ward when they have will of the forsaken. More anti cc for them. They have too much already.
As far as I’m aware all they’ve said is you’ll have a way to acquire priest racial spells of other races.
We don’t know limited it is, how many spells you can select at once. If you can mix them up. If you can change your choice.

We need more details on it. Not sure if all priest racials are swappable or if they are still faction locked.
Ie. ally can pick from desperate prayer, star shards or fear ward and horde can pick from devouring plague or shadow guard.
If only there was a priest ability that has the same cool down that makes the next spell cast be free…
devouring plague is pretty bad… it does 48 damage over 3secs (cost around 500 mana). im replacing it for berserking next phase
yea, it might be good with mind spike, honestly I forgot about mind spike
yes, its not really worth even casting in pvp since it will drain all your mana… berserking tho, mind spikes will go brrrr lol
