Concerned that prestige or "flex" items are being devalued by Blizzard

If other people’s opinion of you matter that much to you… the maybe you shouldn’t have made this dumb mistake:

So… maybe stop carrying about non-existent prestige, and just let people have fun.

Tell that to all the people that claim such things are ‘content’, if it’s meaningless it’s not content.

isnt that how it is with any sports/hobby?

even bowling lol

“Things I have are only valuable if I can lord them over the people who don’t have them.”

That’s it. That’s the tweet.

Life has no assurances. Buy what you enjoy.

I sure hope so. I would love to own all of those things, and I have also been playing since day 1 of the game’s launch in 2004.

WHAT??? That was a bit of a self report…So you only want a nice car to flex it to women?

Its meaningless and you have no ownership rights.

No you missed my point a man would buy a car that fulfills a need like a work truck, family car the exception is a dream car.
To get a woman a man will buy a bmw a cadillac etc cause while some women may not know cars they will know a brand.
You’re reaching with the alleged “self report” Im far to old to be chasing any woman lol.

“Flex mount” is something new I learned this week. I know the type, sitting around in major hubs vying for people’s attention  I always chuckle. It’s sad tbh.

If this is how you go through life youre going to end up feeling miserable.

Seems kinda childish to me.

Speaks of the persons insecurities.

I’m of a different mindset here, You know you got those items, you know you put the work in, no one can take that away from you. So if FOMO items are being brought back in my opinion it doesn’t devalue your accomplishment of getting them. Ah but what do I know.

It’s always been a business transaction. You own nothing in your account, nor the account itself.

Only Elite PvP and CM PvE are anything worth respect.

Blizzard hasn’t actually brought any limited item earned by playing the game back as of yet.

It’s pixels on a screen. your “flex” is weak.

I have a rogue ZG voodoo doll I’ll sell you for 20 mill. I doubt they’ll ever bring those back via the in-game shop OP

That’s a nice story.

What?

Material goods are meaningless when they can be taken away so easily.

Weird take that completely disregards sentimental value and various psychological aspects of marketing, as well as some fundamentals of capitalism, but okay.
