Mythic raid titles and mounts are available forever, anybody can stroll in 10 years later and get them.

Meanwhile, rated PvP mounts are time-limited and then they’re gone forever.

Blizzard should pick one approach and stick with it. Make everything available forever, or take it out every few months. But be consistent, please.

Part of being an MMO is the social aspect. And one of the ways people are social in games, is having “cool stuff to show off”. Things that show “hey, I played at a really high level to get this”, or “I was playing during a particular time”. Things that sort of weave together in a tapestry that tells your story as a player.

I got tons of “exclusive” things and I don’t give a frick if Blizzard opens the flood gates and makes them available to the “riff raff” who had the audacity to not play the game during the very specific period of time and/or was doing what I was doing at that specific period of time.

I’m 100% of the opinion anything and everything in the game should be available to be earned, ingame, always and forever. In fact, I’ll even go 1 step further and say the prestigious items and their drop rate/farmability should actually get easier each major content patch or at least expansion. For example, all legacy raids (identified as being more than 1 expansion old) should have daily lockouts as well as drop some kind of generic currency (say badges of justice) that allow items to be bought for a reasonably high amount. Say 1000 badges for any legacy raid mount.

You want to flex over plebs? Chase down current patch prestigious things.

Idk what the hype is about that mount other than its diablo I got it completely unexpectedly when they handed free diablo games to wow subs.
For longest time I had no idea I had it and diablo lol.
