Seems there is an AOE cap now in SL coming? Max 2 targets for all AOE attacks and can only use AOE once per 3 minutes or its a single target hit?!
I use my arcane explosion to farm old raids and other stuff not so much for being high end rated but this seems very heavy handed. Why are they doing this?!
Idk where you got your information, but try researching before making outrage threads. Different spells have different caps, frozen orb for example has a cap of 8 people at a time, but arcane explosion is uncapped still. Mage probably got hit the least by the AOE capping in Shadowlands.

They put some AOE cap in shadowlands which people reporting on PTR…
its has been reported that DH and Rogues still reign supreme on M+ , so meh

I just dont want to see no AOE for old content farming and pets and stuff.
You’ll be fine soloing old raid. Arcane Explosion is still uncapped, and damage doesn’t fall off until 20+ targets. It’s just like live.
