Simply put, any issue among Tanks and dps when it comes to Ring of peace ccing mobs be it regarding Aggro control or skill rotation interruption if it is used consistently?
Putting effort to Fistweaving because it appears fun with how challenging and complex it appears to be.
The talent direction for the spec seems to empasis attention to cc for reducing or preventing inc damage, along side deailing damage and healing all at once.
Its not a topic towards a single class as there are numerous builds towards Mistweaver be it in Raids, delves, or Mythics(+) (5 builds according to icy veins apparently).
Thoughts?
Using RoP really well is a huge bonus to a key. But it can also be disruptive.
In general you want to try to knock mobs gently, and towards each other if possible. You do not want to drop a ring of piece in the middle of all the mobs and knock them in different directions.
A great use for it is if there is a caster outside of the rest of the pack, you can use it to both knock the caster into the pack, and as a temporary kick on that caster.
A lot of people will invite monks because they have ring of peace, so best to learn how to use it really well

ring of peace also handles the affix this week but as a DH tank, I prefer to do it myself with sigil of misery or hell, even Arcane Torrent. I much prefer when monks use RoP to stop that stupid “defend” cast the trash in Priory does or like the other person said, knock a caster into melee range
you can pin spam casting mob packs against a wall with it and make them bounce endlessly and you can also use it defensively to prevent mobs from getting at the tank if you are on cooldown and he is getting thrashed. It is highly effective in events where mobs chase a dps. Can allow the dps to continue to dish out the pain without having to worry about kiting.
None what so ever in fact, i love it.
A good monk that knows how to use ring of peace is possibly one of the most valuable assets in a run. Ring of peace basically hard counters one of the affixes in the game.
It’s a good skill, just use it well. Never pop it in the middle of a pack, always line it up to keep mobs together otherwise you’re just nerfing your group. That goes for all displacement skills.
