Hello all, quick question. I’ve been having some issues lately. I’m trying to figure out if it’s a mouse issue or a hardware issue.

Long story short, my mouse (the arrow) works because I can move it normally across the screen normally. However, when I try to move my character forward with both buttons pressed, simultaneously, that character wont move at all. The character will stand still, then after a few moments he will move forward and spin around. Its hard to explain, but its like the mouse has a stroke and only some functions of it works.

I upgraded my graphics card. Not sure if I need to replace the mouse batteries for a wired gaming mouse or my HHD is going bad. Or maybe the mother board?

It sounds like the switches on your mouse may be faulty. Do the buttons work fine regularly? Another option is to run the repair tool from the Battle.net client. It also may be time for a new PC since everything about that one is heavily outdated.

Yes, do the left and right mouse buttons work correctly on the Windows desktop?

What kind of mouse? Which Operating System?

If your mouse has some sort of gaming software where you can assign keys to the two main buttons you could assign a couple of keys and go to town in a text window and see if you get the expected results.

In the last 10 years, if it seems like it might be the mouse, it’s usually the mouse.
