For real though…
This is why i don’t get one of the chief complaints about DHs, that they’re easy to play… I’ve got everything at max level except for druid, and i’ve gotta say, i haven’t found a single spec that was particularly difficult to play.

Agreed yeah I lean to somewhere in the middle. I can still get my rotation down, but also not have to stress about it while doing mechanics, etc.
I don’t mind any rotation as long its capable of keeping you alive. Shadow Priest sure doesn’t fall in that category as anything I do just seem to kill me. Can’t do a lot on single target but you sure get hurt a lot if you pull more.
One class overall I find absolutely absurd is Rogue, everything has to have so many things required plus on top of keeping track of your DoTs. I think Feral Druid has it easier but they still fall under a bit of too much to track with their own DoTs too…
its the easiest of them but unholy dk for example that the poster was talking about; all you do in that is drop the decay and just aoe everything. And thats the same with most classes so i dont understand why the op and this other person are arguing about what one is easier lol. Its real easy to crap on DH’s though but people don’t take into account the other classes that are just as easy
Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt, Frostbolt.
Best rotation ever created.
Your word choice is important, “base gameplay”. Ideally I’d think that the best setup would be one where it’s pretty simple to grasp but can be complicated if a player wants to optimize and squeeze out more performance.
Hell yeah brother. lmao
well she was saying that unholy was in the middle for difficulty which it isnt, its as easy as fury warrior
I dunno
Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt, Shadowbolt,
was pretty damn compelling.
tbc next year that’s all its gonna be
My second favorite.
Hell, late enough into Wrath and Aff was basically “spam shadowbolt and keep up haunt and ua.”
Honestly curious about this one. Care to elaborate?
Yeah once tbc releases, itll be a good few years before they change their shadowbolt rotation lol
I think it’s perhaps because i spent a massive chunk of WOTLK in Wintergrasp killing anyone i could find, it just felt really satisfying, my dots actually hit hard, UA hit like a truck when people removed it to the point i watched healers kill themselves for mindlessly spamming mass dispel or whatever. I also loved ICC and just the overall expansion, in many ways i feel like WOTLK was WoW’s heyday.
(there was a lot more to do than spam SB and keep up haunt/UA btw)
I dont like the DNA sequencing thing to get off a half decent attack.
I do like variety of abilities.
Regardless of whether the optimal rotation is 1 button or 10 buttons, I’ll probably end up using a base 3-4 buttons (+a situational ability or two)
yeah fury is around 6 buttons but on aoe its usually just 3-4 with a heal whenever necessary
