Is it possible to learn both Goblin and Gnomish patterns even if you can only be 1 at a time? Like can I learn all Gnomish, switch to Goblin, learn all those and then switch back? Would that show everything as learned in the journal? or is it forever going to have unlearned patterns no matter what?

Also if Blizzard reads this, I think its time to let engineers learn everything. The gnome/goblin thing seems really outdated.

Yeah I hate having things perpetually stuck in the unlearned tab too. Both engineering and black smithing can learn the Void Focus pattern (if I recall that’s what it’s called; the thing that unlocks the Nyalotha crafting focus), but once you learn it on one it doesn’t drop for the other anymore.
