Are we shooting ourselves in the foot here by completing these quests for the bonus money?
I assume that EXP won’t be back filled once Phase 2 is released.
Why not? There will be plenty of other quests you can do when the level cap is raised.

No because unlike Hardcore you can spam dungeons all day. Dungeon xp is huge. I leveled from 18-25 without doing a single quest.
You have dungeons to spam for gear and xp and new zones will open up to level in with fresh quests and new content
