Hi, I beat the Panda starting zone before the end of the promo to get the mount but I don’t see it anywhere in retail. I made sure I was on MoP Classic PTR and beat the starting zone up to and including the quest to fight Varian (I chose Alliance), what do I do?

It should be Mists of Pandaria Classic, under the Live - Classic section.
It was officially renamed to Mists of Pandaria about a week ago. But yeah if OP downloaded the client like 2 weeks ago that is where they got confused.

Sorry but the PTR doesn’t count. You have to do it in the cata classic. On the bright side you should be much faster at it now that you’ve done it once.

It’s definitely not done by the PTR. I did it live and got the mount immediately. Also, even if you don’t get it immediately after doing it correctly on the live Classic server, they have until the last day of the month to give it to you. It may not be instant.
I’m also looking at WoWHead right now and I don’t see anything about PTR associated with this mount.

The PTR doesn’t count for anything… it never has. If you want the mount you need to do MoP Classic.

That’s Mop Classic NOT the PTR.

It was Cataclysm Classic until just a few days ago when it converted to MoP Classic.

The good news is you still have a full day to do it on the correct version.
Make sure you select “Mist of Pandaria Classic” under “Live Classic”.
I downloaded and did the starting quest today and got the mount immediately.

I did it as soon as the promotion started and got it immediately too. Then deleted Classic ASAP.

I literally did. And there were tons of people doing it on the PTR when I was as well and were saying that they had gotten it so I don’t get what all these other people are saying.
You have to be trolling at this point. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get the Mount or ANYTHING for Live on the PTR it always has been and always will be. If you want the Mount go do it on MoP Classic. Or just keep arguing here and don’t get the Mount.
