Completed LFR Raszageth as a PvP player

All of that is possible and it’s also possible that it’s just not that bad.

A lot of people that claim to always get bad runs of X instanced content or never win BGs are actually the problem they seem to want to shift blame from.

I’m going to point out that you are but 1 person, and the number of LFR runs you have or have not done is unknown (I suspect intentionally obfuscated).

I will grant that there is a decent amount of self-serving bias displayed on the forums, but I don’t think that effect alone accounts for all of the negative LFR experiences posted here.

ye

as well as those bubble thingies you gotta interrupt

Lightning patches in P1 you want all of them away from the raid, since they do falloff damage (decreases with your distance from the hit) upon being placed. You then want to position the raid to be knocked into one by the winds.

as for the lightning balls in P2, they are just a case of spread out to avoid overlaps killing people, and everyone should kick/purge/knock/stun/other CC on their own.

I suspect we are dealing with a case of belief bias here.

They took an entire phase out of Anduin in the last tier and they dropped the charges mechanic from Raz. And a lot of the ones they leave in are dialed down so far unorganized groups can basically ignore them.

The actual boss of the desolate host isn’t in the LFR version of the desolate host encounter in tomb.

Seriously ?

How.

Literally put yourself facing the platform you want to go to.

Jailer P2 → onward lost the pillar break mechanic, tanks literally had nothing to do.

If I’ve just been lucky then I think that’s pretty awesome and hope my luck holds. I’ll admit the first week was pretty hairy for LFR Raz but didn’t really experience anything but patient groups even with the wipes. With time comes experience and it will only continue to get easier as time goes on.

Personally I really hope they don’t nerf Raz, it’s a fairly easy and fun fight on LFR and people just need to be a bit more patient. I’d like to see more LFR encounters of similar difficulty in the future.

I already know the mechanic, I’m saying they can cause a raid wipe in lfr, for context sake

Halondrus tank debuff didn’t stack.

Sludgefist chains didn’t exist.

And wipes in LFR aren’t ok ?

I mean, without wipes, would it even be raiding ? It’s barely raiding as it is.

PvP isn’t actually that bad on the casual side. You always have one or two all caps rage kids in every large BG, but most people have learned to just laugh and ignore them.

I didn’t say that, scroll up

I’m of the opinion that LFR is torn between trying to do 2 different things, and as a result is terrible at both.

I’m implying that a few bad apples can wipe the raid even if there are three people “carrying”

Neither is casual LFR though. I seem to find people that are just there for some fun and a few jokes more than expecting a perfectly clean run and raging if they don’t get it.

Always that one guy that is face first on the floor blaming the rest of the raid and is probably the all caps rager in random BGs as well.
