This is a massive bug with the Great Vault, it says I only did Tier 1 Delve when I did a Tier 4. The reward is only limited to 584 ATM. Please fix this ASAP, I do not want to get some trash item because of some bug.
I did a 5, but it only counted as a 4, even though I got the 5 achievement. I’m thinking a Bountiful Delve is required for it to count, but really it should be any delve. shrugs
nope i only do bountiful 8 delves and its still telling me to do a tier 2 or higher.

Yep, just noticed this on my lock. I did a t8 earlier in the week, just did a second one this morning for a vault slot. Great vault graphic is saying I earned a tier 1 reward. I hope it’s just a UI issue!
edit: i just checked on my rogue who did t8s earlier in the week, and her vault is showing the correct reward.
Having this same issue on my toons for the last slot. Still says I need to complete a T1 delve or higher to improve the slot when I’ve done all T8s on two different characters this week. There needs to be a fix for this.
It’s showing a tier 1 as you haven’t done enough t8 delves to push the t1 world activities out of the rewards.

they did not fix this i got shafted on that slot for the week.
Exactly thats the bug, When you run mythics for instance, if you ran 4 mythic 2s and then
ran a single mythic 4 then the first tier of rewards for the single dungeon run would be set to reward mythic 4 tier.
Bug is still alive and well, Ran a 8 still showing me as rewards for 1
I’m trying an experiment where I’m going to fill out all three slots in the vault with 8 Bountiful T8s before I do any world content that would go into one of those slots and see if I can get all three slots to ilvl 616 and stay that way even after I turn in the world content.
Adding: the experiment is a success. My Delves row is full of 616s and none of the world events have displaced them. So, to be safe, you can get all 8 delves out of the way first before turning in any world weekly events.
So to be clear, are we saying I have to run 2 T8 Delves to unlock T8 slot 1, 4 T8 delves for slot 2, and 8 T8 delves for slot 3? And if I run 2 T8 delves and 2 world events I’ll have a T8 slot and a T1 slot.
With this in mind, if I’ve run 4 T8 delves and 4 world events, the message for Slot 3 would read, “Complete “A” Tier 2 delve” but in reality I need to run 4 more T8 delves to upgrade Slot 3 to T8, pushing out the 4 world events that only unlocked T1.
Is this all correct?

Thank you, the grammar of the in-game message really was throwing me in the beginning but this makes more sense. I wish it gave a better status, maybe “5 of 8 Tier 8 delves completed”. Maybe it would be too much info to give in one place but the way it’s phrased really is kind of ridiculous.
But I think you’re describing something different. If you ran 1 T1 Dungeon and 1 T8 Dungeon, the first slot which requires two runs will be the lowest of the runs, in this case the T1. You have to run 2 Tier 8 dungeons for the first slot to be Tier 8. If you ran 3 T8 dungeons and 1 T1 dungeon, the second slot would have a T8 and a T1 run so it would still be the lowest of all the runs. Run one more T8 and you now have 2 T8 runs in the second slot and the T1 would push to the 3rd slot.
In your example, the first slot would have a single T4 run and 1 T1 run, so it should be T1 . When you complete a second T4 the T1s are pushed into the next slots and Slot 1 would now be T4. Slot 2 would be open with 2 T1s, slot 3 would have 2 T1s and not be open.
