Compensation for Delay of Shadowlands

I think that Blizzard needs to compensate everyone with an active membership, and who have already pre-purchased Shadowlands. Some of us have already scheduled vacation time, that we can’t reschedule, or will not have enough for the delayed release. They promised for months that the release date would be the 27th of Oct. Then with 25 days until release they change the date to who knows when. Some companies refuse to allow vacation during Nov. and Dec. Thus making it impossible to take vacation. Some will not have any vacation left at that point in time. I smell a class action law suit in the works for Blizzard. I for one will be happy when they get screwed like they did to all the people that play this game. Or they can willingly off a substantial compensation for the delay.

I like where your head is, but these days Blizzard only trades community good-will for profit, not the other way around.

How about a $25 Credit to the blizzard cash shop?

Your compensation will be an expansion that will likely not suck.

the only compensation i want from them at this point is a real release date ASAP so i can take PTO again cause my boss doesn’t look at our requests so it actually takes him time to approve mine alone took 1 month to approve this time if he doesn’t approve it im not coming in regardless gonna give him a heads up he don’t listen screw it im taking it no matter what.

other compensation would be a damn good expac overall. if we get a half @ssed expac oh man…

I would rather wait and have a good experience for the expac. We are already getting a mount and pre-patch is less than two weeks away. If they need 2 to 3 weeks extra to get Shadowlands where it needs to be then I am all for it.

And when you miss a deadline at work do you give part of your salary back?

To quote bully Maguire: I miss the part where that is my problem.

Yeah Blizz, I demand a large sausage pizza be delivered to my house.

…and cheesy garlic bread

I am down with that.

The only guarantee that you had was what’s on the box (so to speak) when you pre-order. That the game will be available on or before December 31st. Until that comes and goes, you won’t see a refund for the game.

Blizzard didn’t force you to take time off. You chose to take time off for a video game that was clearly unfinished. Even if it were finished, you chose to take time off for a video game. One that’d be there when you got home from work anyway, or the days you have off naturally.

There’s no reason to refund. This entire year has been a year of ‘well, that’s not going to plan,’ and people are upset when something doesn’t go to plan?

How about another free mount?

I like the pizza idea better.

I have already requested 2, ALMOST 3 weeks of vacation for this… I am utterly dumbfounded… You should not have announced the date if you could not live up to it. My guild stopped raid progression because we didnt think we had time to accomplish our goals… (Now realizing we would have had time…) Many of us requested time off of work, and I’m not confident in my ability to change that time off to a new date…) I just can’t believe this.

If you expect Blizzard to write you a check you’re out of your mind.

But I do think they should honor your request if you ask for a refund.

Compensation? No.

They can compensate us by pulling the ripcord
