It’s already been proven that this isn’t a “server load” issue. It’s account specific.

What is your proof of that? As a game developer I am willing to bet you the massive amount of data the DB has to pull when you log into a character is timing out because all the people trying to get in right now.

Yup they should give compensation for “down” time as you pay to play.
I sure like beiing 30miles from anything and its night and I just want to game but nope cant create char, cant login char, get logged in then booted and cant login again then chars not found, empty char screen.

Yes, a difference in scope. No excuse though. It’s essentially the same exact issue as if all the servers were down. People can’t play the game, even though they pay to play it. Same exact issue, just over different lengths of time.
It’s hypocritical to say that 1 month of downtime should see compensation but not 1 day. It’s the same exact issue. It would just entail 1 day’s worth of compensation rather than 1 month’s worth.
Read the ToS, instead of skipping through it. You also give up any rights to sue them, and agree to binding arbitration. This is common practice with the vast majority of software companies, and even service providers, just saying.
But people can play the game? There are probably millions of people around the world on and maybe a few thousand with the issue. It literally makes no sense to compare total downtime to partial issues.
At this rate, this weekend will be a zoo. I have gotten in around an hour in the past two days. Lovely Blizz…lovely!
I’ve already stated that proof.
I have 5 people logging into this game in this house. 4 can get in, 1 cannot.
All 4 use their machines using my account info and are unable to log in. No matter what server, it’s the same result.
When they switch back to their accounts, they get in without a hitch. One of the accounts isn’t even a retail monthly subscription account, it’s a trial account … and has no issues.
Definitely an account/authentication issue when log in servers are under load. You’re not the only game developer playing this game … FYI.

2 Hours ago was playing fine, now none of my characters are there when I came back from making/eating dinner.
Not going to panic because it will probably buff out, will do something else until it comes back. Not missing out on much anyway.
Dang I guess you got me lemme go hand in my 2 weeks. There could be other factors too of course but I imagine that is not the sole problem. But you clearly have more insight then me!

Continuing paying for a game that you feel is constantly inept is pretty insane to me. I wouldn’t fund such an organization - and I have withdrawn my funds plenty!
