I, like many of you I am sure, have encountered a very VERY frustrating bug over the last two days of the Shadowlands pre patch. The one where your characters and realms take forever to load, and then inevitably when they do, you can’t log into your characters because they are “Not found” Now, usually I am not one to complain about something such as this, but, to be in my friends party and switch characters really quick to send some gold over, just to be greeted by said character being “Not found” makes me very frustrated. I have paid good money for the expansion access as well as subscription fees, and while I do understand that it is still early and hard to get perfect, I can’t help but want reparations’ for my lost game time and thus lost money.
“It’s the principle of the matter. Give me my .50 cents a day!” Don’t forget to add in the downtime for maintenance on Tuesdays. Can’t play then either. It’s just criminal.
I see your argument, but my case against it is this… It’s in the terms of service that it will be down for “scheduled maintenance” This is not that.

This is why i believe subscriptions should be based on hours not a set date. That way you’re only paying for the time you’re playing
It may be a server issue. I know at one time there were log-in servers that connected you to your realm (something like this) and if those went down you could view your characters, but not log in with them. That’s what this sounds like more than a bug.

Absolutely I agree, a refund of a dollar amount would be absurd. But I’m sure a ratio of the WOW token and gold equated to in game time could be used. As in, as many days as it takes to get completely fixed, is as many days of gold that is distributed. I’m not asking for a cash refund, just a customer retention reparation. In good faith.

Personally I’ll probably be moving back to FFXIV by end of my sub time anyway. since I think they actual prepatch events are a lil ways away. so doesn’t matter to me either way.
