Companion Pet hotkeys always disappear when dragged onto actionbar

Hey guys

Classic player here with a problem on just one of my characters.
I like to hotkey my companion pet onto my actionbar. However, just on this character, they always disappear - on logging out, rezoning, or respeccing.

All other spells and items dragged onto the bars stay persistent
Directory is all non-read-only
Tried running game as admin

Anyone had this problem? Very strange that it’s only on one of my toons.
Addons are extremely minimal, just leatrix, atlasloot and a tooltip gearscore

The only instances I’m aware of when bars should reset like that is if you’re setting them up while in a BG/Arena.

Which bar are you putting them on?

Might also test if disabling Leatrix fixes the issue, that addon does a lot of things under the hood.

I usually throw them on Actionbar 3 4 or 5. I’ve tried all those bars and the pets still disappear, but nothing else will (potions, spells, quest items all stay)

Worst case, try replacing the pet spells with macros of the pet spells and see if they stick (you can use the Command Demon spell for most of them).
