Comp Stomp

Browsing through the calendar and not seeing Comp Stomp anymore. I know we can do the training grounds abomination, but are we ever getting real Comp Stomp back?

Pretty sure Comp Stomp is gone forever now that Training Mode exists as a permanent feature.

Non-PvPers would only show up to Comp Stomp to farm honor/tokens for older sets, and actual PvPers found it to be dull.

RIP marks of honor alt farming. That was its purpose. So normal players can get marks without sullying themselves with pvpers.

I assume they just want people to do “real” PvP for those.

I am sitting on thousands of marks across all my characters- if I could sell them to PvErs, I would. Or even hand them out freely.

Pretty much bought every old PvP cosmetic I could, and they’ve been piling up for years now.

PVP people can go get any PVE appearance they want at anytime. Having a fake battleground to farm currency to buy a couple sets once every 3 months isn’t a huge ask.

Most of those PVPers rage at the thought of normal players getting appearances or mounts though and for some reason Blizzard really protects that.

I agree.

I don’t think people should “suffer” from having to do current PvP for old legacy sets, especially if they don’t PvP.

I haven’t really PvE’d seriously in years, yet I could go grab any older PvE set very easily.

Old PvP stuff should function the same way.

At the very least, let Training Mode give marks. It won’t hurt endgame PvP.

The funny part is they just made it so if you complete a mythic PVE set you get all the other lower difficulty sets for free. So PVP players have an even easier time of acquiring PVE transmogs. And at they same time they kill Comp Stomp. Feels like I am taking crazy pills.

Nope. We asked for more Comp Stomp and got Monkeys Pawed instead.

You can still get marks out of the box at the end of the game and the honor vendor sells a box with 5 marks for 2500 honor. You can also get a flask that gives 15% more honor to speed up the grind a bit.
