I always find it funny Comp Stomp is popular because it removes the PvP aspect of the battleground. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s almost like PvP, except the bots are a bit worse than real players. Like, they interrupt and stun, just not strategically.

EDIT: I think it just removes the toxic elements and so it’s more enjoyable for people who don’t care for that in pvp.

Yep! It’s “PvP” without the PvP. :grin:

It’s why I loved Legion PvP Warden Towers and Warfronts. I got a sense of fighting the opposite faction without all of the insanity and mouse throwing of real PvP.

It’s about winning.

I do think it’s a decent training simulation. The enemy interrupts and has synergy with teammates to the point that it’s replicating 1200 brackets.

I get a mark of honor from every 5 cap comp stomp.

You get 5 for the quest (Go to your Adventure Guide to pick it up if you haven’t done it this time around), you get one per win and every 2000 honor currency you can buy 5 of them from the vendor.

I think their intention was to show off their updated Arathi Basin to people who didn’t PVP.

Surprised they didn’t add a more difficult mode, and/or do anything else with these PvP bots.

Well, there are IEs with that AI in them. But I’d love to see more PvP WQs like the Warden Towers with more NPCs doing stuff like that.

Nobody ever defended the warden towers. I just liked farming those WQs for easy marks. :slight_smile:

Comp Stomp is boring imo, I just don’t see the appeal of it outside of “free honor”… it’s neither fun or engaging because bots/NPCs are no threat at all

I’ve just been cycling thru my alts to knock out the quest, but other than that I haven’t been back in there. For me it was a “one and done” thing for the weekly quest/free Marks of Honor, that’s it :laughing:

Tell that to the group I had a few comp stomps ago that lost :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

But ya, I like it I guess… though I lost motivation to continue it, even for the 5 or w.e marks and whatever else it gives.

I also suck and don’t like PVPing and sometimes those bots kick my butt lol

They seemed to have capped the honor though, which sucks.
