When is the next one?? I loaded tf up on Marks of Honor and old / current PVP cosmetics. Been on the GRIND. IMO its the perfect game mode for those that have anxiety about PvP vs a human opponent but still want to collect the pvp appearances and NOT fully participate in PVP. On my alts i was able earn a surplus of 15k of honor currency on 3 toon alts including my main. Unfortately i started late, this past Friday but still managed 13 honor lvls to hit 30 and unlock my next Legion Artifact appearance
Next Comp Stomp Im starting 100% from the day it drops. Im sure i couldve almost maxxed my honor levels for the Legion Artifact appearances if i had started day 0
They are renaming it to training grounds, but itâs basically comp stomp. They might reduce the honor rewards a bit since itâs gunna be always available compared to on a rotation like now, but they havenât said that or anything, thatâs just me speculating.
They probably will reduce rewards. Knowing Blizz, Iâd be surprised if it gives rewards at all in Midnight. Itâs probably going to actually be intended just for âtrainingâ and will thus be completely pointless.
Yeah i was thinking the same , damn it nvm then with Blizzs track record for messing up good things. This is probrably the last one worth doing then, oh well at least i got one in, before its messed off
Comp Stomp is gone. Done. Poof. Turned into Training Grounds that will be more difficult, expanded to more maps and we donât know what the rewards will be anymore or if itâll count for achievements.
We asked for Comp Stomp to come around more often. We thought when they said âpermanentâ that might be good. But if you read the descriptions of Training Grounds⊠it doesnât sound like what we asked for. So people are worried.
Weâll see how it goes in a week when itâs added.
Not that this is totally relevant but when overwatch first came out I used to love to play games against AI on hard mode!.. Was a lot of fun they could do a lot with this system
I wouldnât be surprised if they did reduce the honor gained since itâs perma. But I also could see them not changing it, they have been reducing the honor grind needed recently with warbands being able to transfer it, and with crate farming completely circumventing the usual honor farm.
As you say, we will have to see when itâs added. Itâs all guess work at this point.

This was the last Comp Stomp. Itâs being replaced with Proving Grounds. I know you can still farm honor in those but I donât know about Marks of Honor. I hope they will still give Marks. I still have a lot of transmog stuff I want to buy.
Meh, ill just go back to regular PvP. I was pvping before BUT this Comp Stomp was a good way to farm old pvp gear and set up someone new to pvp, with a straighter path towards attaining entry lvl (aspirant) pvp gear and/or older players attaining the old pvp gear for cosmetic purposes.

Guess back to the normal pvp grind then, but at least i have a good head start & a ton of cosmetics i wanted
