It’s super annoying now. All of the low players who had fun in a fake PvP experience are getting rekt. In a queued BG most people don’t think to sit nodes, or recap. The bots just run past and hit other nodes making the games super long which isn’t a “stomp” at all… Just let us farm honor in peace.

i know, right? it was as if somebody at Blizzard thought it would be funny to troll players who farm comp stomp by making the bot team smarter. Comp Stomp is supposed to be the easiest of pvp brawls, impossible to lose, it’s supposed to be like taking candy from a baby! yet the bots are zerging random bases, sometimes even succeeding in capping more bases than just the one closest to their home base. for the love of Thrall, Blizz, nerf the bots back to the way they were!
Bots have had their AI overhauled and it’s made the brawl less of a snore fest.
I think comp stomp bot should be harder and we play in the new bg.

seriously, who in blizzard thought making the easiest pvp brawl in wow, difficult was a GOOD idea? it’s called “Comp Stomp” because it’s supposed to be easy af! they player team is supposed to be the ones kicking the butts of the bot team, not the other way around! it’s called “Comp Stomp” because the player team is supposed to always win! that’s what the “Stomp” part of Comp Stomp means! 
I think it’s that all ai gets fully geared.
End of expac comp stomp will be an absolute joke again.
In the meantime I’m thoroughly enjoying how goofy it is at the moment.
I keep hoping to see a team actually lose.

hmmm, come to think of it, as i got to the point where the only 2 pieces of the Forged Aspirant Plate armor i needed left, was the belt and boots, the last two Comp Stomps i did, just now, were actually less frustrating and feeling like the easy af Comp Stomping that i enjoyed and looked forward to, so much
I don’t think it’s buffed. Players are simply under-geared because it’s the start of an unusual season. The jump from level 70 to 80 is massive, and unlike before, we aren’t moving forward with gear from the previous season. We’re starting with the bare minimum—no set bonuses, barely any enchants. Plus, there are no well-geared players carrying those who are under-geared. Everyone’s starting from scratch, so to speak.
I find it a bit over the top, but with basically unenchanted honor gear I do fine. I can’t believe how many players play it so poorly though and apparently can’t even PvE in a BG.
I think it’s fine, especially if blizz doesn’t buff it anymore going forward…

Comp stomp doesn’t need to be any easier … It’s still a 5 cap every game with no gear

People are in leveling greens, trying to gear up.
The bots are all fully geared.

The AI bots dont even have Hero Talents. They are base on generic class npc lol. Literally easy mode.

Um, their AI isn’t smarter they just have more health and do more damage relative to the players.

They are mindless bots, they dont sap cap, coordinate CC or really even heal properly. Just kill them and win. I personally think of them as Day 1 wow interns getting a crash course in pvp given a very limited ability pool.
I did enough comp stomp to get my full honor set (with about 2k honor coming from war supply crates but the rest was comp stomp).
I never even came close to losing. Had maybe 2 games where we won by taking 3 bases, most were either 4 or 5 caps in our favor.
Even with the absurd stats on the AI they would still get stomped due to being AI. The difference is, it was actually kind of fun now.

To be fair, one of the “rules” of Comp Stomp (if you mouseover the game mode) is “Win.”
If they’re going to buff the bot AI then they should buff the honor reward. Random BGs are more worthwhile if the game isn’t 5-capped quickly (although that’s actually wrong now too since the queues are all still giving XP at level 80 and zero honor).
