You could argue that MORE people came to WoW when the iconic ARTHAS was available to fight and kill in a raid. And the ability to catch up using LFD definitely played a huge role in people coming back to WoW. Most veteran players dont think of an expansion as over when they kill the final boss either, they wanna farm that mofo for all his loot, parse their brains out, hit 99-100 parses on everything, then level 5 alts and do the same thing.
What i want is no df at all. But sure, tell yourself anything you’d like.

Sounds like what you want is Vanilla or TBC then. It’s weird to spend so much energy trying to ruin Wrath when this clearly isn’t the expansion you’re interested in.

Sorry, i think the last part of my previous post might apply better to you instead .
TIL unless something is the single most important aspect of the entire expansion it can’t be said that the expansion would be critically degraded by its absence.
