Community pvp tuning wishlist

I hear a common sentiment that there is too much borrowed power complicating the game balance. But in my opinion, we are only a few simple changes away from this game being great. Here are my proposed changes:

Pvp Tuning:

  • Kraven Strategem removed from game and hunters refunded soul cinders / soul ash

  • Defensive stance lowers rage generation by 40%. This is meant to be a defensive not a perma wall outside of burst.

  • Feral offheals nerfed by 20%

  • Spinning crane kick nerfed by 15%

  • Rdruid unable to shift immune root beam. Rdruid unable to shift immune hex. Rdruid unable to shift immune repentance.

Pvp gearing:

All honor upgrade requirements reduced by 50%.

Arena Queing:

Protection specs now count as a healer. You are no longer able to queue healer / prot / x.

Also Craven is kinda cool, if anything target the short cooldown, don’t remove it entirely.

If you remove craven wouldn’t hunters be super squishy? I’m fine for that for bm but what about survival?

If they need some other tuning that is fine. But if you ever played a dot spec vs hunter this expansion it is truly a toxic experience. Like imagine being an aff lock vs a hunter.

Dispel protection exists for a reason. Being able to drop everything on a 15 sec cd without any penalty is insane.

As for the rdruid nerf - why should they be able to shift rep on a 0 second CD when they also have better mana , throughput, mobility, and defensives. All the other healers have to worry about positioning but rdruid can just run around as an unkillable god class.

Healer:
Buff hpal mana, buff MW offensive toolkit, make cen ward only be increased by 5 instead of 10 sec duration by verdant infusion.

Dps:
Increase cd of craven from 15 to 20 seconds.
Windwalker damage is just busted. Cap their damage output to 20k/sec.
Also not necessary but would be nice, cap demonbolt damage to 75% of someone’s max health, and make feral convoke no longer able to do more than 50% of someone’s max health during half of it’s duration

Interesting no mention of Shaman’s Deeptremor Stone one of the most broken legendaries in arena.

Also Feral healing has already been nerfed 20% this expansion amigo…

The sham leggo isn’t broken tbh. I’m not sure what the uptime on it is but it’s 20-30%. You can just respond to by running/cc’ing the elemental for the first minute of the game. In 3s a lot of shams aren’t running it.

Tell me you play shaman, pally, boomy with out telling me you play shaman, pally, boomy.

I mean do you actually think rdruid is fair? They already have the best throughput, mobility, and defensives. Why do they need to immune 1/2 the cc in the game too?

Also I’ve played every spec in the game idc. Lately I’ve been playing boomie and I think it’s absurd I’m passively immune to hex and polymorph.

Ya so fix the problems don’t change what makes them unique because its strong against you.

Sometimes I wish there was a rating requirement to post, man I’m missing AJ forums so much…

If rdruid was immune to trap you would understand.

Also, I don’t have to play the game for 14 years like you to know that rdruid is toxic. It’s evidently clear even to new players.

Craven is fine in my opinion.

I actually think it needs to make Feign Death also heal for 20% max HP to make it more useful.

I’m honestly too bored to read comments but just your post so here we go;

Kraven is fine if it didn’t reduce the cd lol.
Defensive Stance shouldn’t be allowed to use half its abilities like ye olde days.
People still struggle with feral offheals after .5?
SCK model is already going in 9.2 if you’ve read the tier sets.
If you’re good at playing vs boomies you’ll know you just have to keep jumping and you’ll be able to get out of it as it lands. Also I’ve never seen a druid get hexed in form? Or rep?

I can certainly see an argument for it being immune to hex.

I can’t see an argument for it being able to immune hpal rep. There is just no way they need that.

man i wish they’d double the cd on most warrior utility buttons
(disam duel specifically)

i’ve actually heard people argue that several short cooldown huge answers adds to the warrior skillcap but imo it dramatically reduces it
disarm/duel being 90 seconds each means you have to have the awareness to know when your utility actually matters

otherwise you’re just following deadly boss mods and if you’re failing now it’s because you’re genuinely bad at world of warcraft pvp
