Living flame is significantly better for farming and far less annoying in pvp, while being reigned in PVE where it wasn’t unreasonable but feels much more of a random nerf than just making hot streak deal 50% reduced damage.
I’d say its better for farming 4-8 mobs worse for larger packs than 8, which is fine we have blizzard but was nice to do something different in SoD. We can still farm unlimited mobs.
In PvP, it’s much much worse now vs any decent player and dueling, still okay in chaotic large team fights
In PvE, Its definitely a significant nerf as most bossfights are under 1 min so you dont get the full value of the second living flame and you now have to be melee mage to use it effectively but I don’t really care about PvE because you can take middle of the pack green parsers and blast Gnomer with no issues.
It needed a nerf but I would’ve gone with -20% damage and making it 12-15 sec with no change to the CD. The movespeed nerf was the worst part imo.
Warriors:
I ran some tests. No rune changes detected.
No future runes with cool new abilities detected, either.
Slam, Mortal Strike, Whirlwind, repeat. Carry on.
