Community Flare Addon PVP unfairness

This lol. You can easily 1v2 them. It’s so satisfying when you open at them and they panic. They press all kinds of unnecessary spells.

If so many people really wanted to queue up with their friends to play other people queued up with theirs then the normal rated battlegrounds would be popular.

But they don’t.

Honestly, just a really dumb comment from top to bottom.

I’ve been solo-queueing into epics for years and years. I still do. The vast majority of games I play are solo-queue. And what do I very typically queue into? You got it, synced queue raids. So you want me to be like everybody else? LOL, ok, I’ll keep sync queueing like everyone else. All you people complaining about this the most … I’ve never noticed a single one of you in a BG.

If Blizzard wants to make a change, they’re more than welcome. But the state they’ve left BG’s in is such that for epics, there are no better games right now than synced raid v synced raid. I’m not going to apologize for that as it wasn’t my decision. It is what it is. As it stands, I enjoy nothing more than a 10 v 30+ to have a challenging match in the epic BG context and the mix of larger scale team fighting with strategic objectives. It’s my $15 a month and that’s one of the things I enjoy so I’m going to keep doing it until there is some change.

I’ve played some good PUG v PUG games too. I enjoy any match that is competitive, but the PUG games tend to be all about the zug and who has more throughput and they lack intelligent objective moves to swing games. I mean, that’s fine, I do throughput just fine, it’s just not as interesting. And of course, we all know PUG v raid is garbage and generally not fun at all.

So no, I’m not going to join you on your picket line. If you can get Blizzard to make a change, more power to you. I mean that sincerely. I think what we have now is the worst of all worlds, and I don’t think the people at Blizz care at all. As such, I’m going to approach it in a way that seems reasonable to me and provides the greatest entertainment value.

It’s apples and oranges. I really like RBG’s, but what a PITA to put groups together. You need exactly 10, with pretty specific comp requirements if you want to be competitive, you all need to be within a decent CR range and skill level (otherwise people cry) and all that gets you to the point you sit in queue for often longer than you’re in games.

Unrated PvP allows people to play and have fun without a bunch of restrictions on what they can play and it doesn’t have the sting of losing rating, which a lot of people just don’t want to deal with.

It would be nice if they could make an in-between, but I don’t know what that would look like.

Oh boy. The mental gymnastics you are going through here to justify this is insane. Hate to break it to you, but 2100 does not make you “good” enough to have win rates like that. Even top end blitz players don’t have win rates like this :joy: but go on and keep acting like you are just that “good”. Oh and don’t try to bring up top end RBG win rate. They just manipulate the Qs to farm rando 2100 teams.

This conversation isn’t really about premades. That’s just the thing that people have taken up to blame for their losses. If premades were banned, which they won’t be, but if they were, players would just find a new thing that is “cheating” or “exploiting”.

There are always people who complain. Doesn’t mean it’s not worth getting rid of premades

When people are only complaining about premades because that’s the boogeyman of the month that they can shift blame onto, then yes, it is not worth getting rid of premades.

That’s all this conversation is.

that’s the boogeyman of the month

What do you mean? It seems like your only argument is that we shouldn’t get rid of premades because it won’t actually stop people from whining, which isn’t actually an argument.

That’s what we would call a strawman. That’s not my argument, that’s one that you invented.

You said it, my man.

Quote where I said it. I’ll wait.

" If premades were banned, which they won’t be, but if they were, players would just find a new thing that is “cheating” or “exploiting”."

That is not making this argument:

Your reading comprehension skills need a lot of work. I can see why Blizzard has opted to listen to me on this matter and not you.

That’s fine – I’ll brush up on them.

In the meantime, I think the point of “you guys will just complain anyway” is pointless and antagonistic.

Good.

It’s not pointless. Again, reading comprehension is severely needed here. Nor is it antagonistic. It’s reality.

it’s reality

Is just a useless talking point to cover for antagonizing people.

Nope, but you’re welcome to believe that. Doesn’t really matter to me, because it’s a point that Blizzard is keenly aware of as well. And you’re doing a great job at proving it correct.

And you’re only really here to start arguments and fights, so have a good one.
