Can we fix this please? If it’s not taking 5 minutes to actually get a task, today I got the tenderize the tough carp task, normally easy, except HE NEVER SPAWNED ONE A SINGLE TIME. Plenty of not so tender morsels and rubber fish heads etc, but not a single tough carp. So I’m just bricked and cant complete the quest or get any rep, for 3.5 hours. Fun

The only way I found to get out of this glitch is to leave the area until the quest tracking disappears. Then fly back to the community feast and it will reset to ‘wait for for orders’ and you can finish the quest.

The entire feast event is normally broke, they need to delete it completely.
It was a cool idea, but in practice it fails for more people then it works for.
do the right thing, actually fix it or remove it.
I’ve had both happen.
Only get two tasks done and have to return later to finish the quest.
Or, I get all 5 done plus 4 or 5 more in a single event.

Whole thing is a mess. There’s either so many people there it’s hard to get tasks or so few you have 2 guys making green soup.
there is nothing wrong with that feast - there is only people who are doing something wrong with how it is set up.
First you have to have your quests set up to track and then all you need to do is watch for a new one to happen. I usually interact with the chef after I complete each one but I am not sure that is necessary. However, I have never not been able to complete that quest in one go if I am there for the start of the feast (and I have done over 100 of these across characters).
Right now - you get credit for collecting meat and usually 4 attacking mobs so just picking up 3 meat will give you 3/5 for that quest and then you only need one task assigned. Clicking the hat gives you credit for one and doing the quest gives you credit for one. Bam five done.
I’ve only failed to do 5 tasks one time (before the fixes that made it really simple), and I’ve done soup multiple times a week every week.
The event is definitely better when you have fewer people. I had that happen once. We had enough folks to still get Legendary soup, but few enough folks that we all got tons of tasks. I was basically never just sitting there spamming abilities for more than 30 seconds.
I think the real fix for Community Feast is to have smarter phasing in Iskaara, particularly around soup time, to keep a reasonable number of people at the event in each phase.
sometimes that meats you have to attack follow players and if you missed it, it could be on the other side of the island keeping you from getting the task done. Not saying that is always what happens. My problem is doing the soupervisor task and then having a beast attack before completion and then I lose the action bar and it can’t be completed afterwards. yes, flying away til it disappears and then coming back allows me to get new tasks again but shouldn’t have to do that.
i kind of know what causes it not sharing though we might get others abuse it
You have to talk to the chief again to restart it ,it happen to me too.
