Communities in the game are cross factional- why is the new community hub faction limited in design and theme

Housing good, factional limitations built into the design not good.

Sure you can build/live in a “opposing” faction zone- but limitations on architecture or even just single faction zone theme is dumb given how much work has been put into removing cross-faction borders.

Given you can operate in a cross faction way via warbands/guilds/communities why not just make the zones and themeing and architecture neutral or a factional mix in the first place.

i agree. i prefer the alliance neighrborhood but would love the more elegant designs of the blood elf homes, they simply fit a caster’s home better than human wood and night elf wood

I understand their logic, wanting to keep things on theme, but yeah, do agree it’s kinda disappointing. Plenty of druids Horde side could have made use of the Belameth architecture, especially if they added a lighter brown. Similarly, the Silvermoon architecture would have been wonderful for Alliance, if they had a void or high elf color option. Not allowing it was the final straw that got me to race change my warlock main, actually.

Even as a Orcs Orcs I would run some variant of human/nelf as it captures the style of Trueshot Lodge. Which I may do as my guild is mostly alliance.

But the fact that if I wish to share a community hub with my community, Im forced into their factional style is… a design choice that I question.
