Is there a way to communicate with neighbors? Say you wanted to shoot a question or some message to someone regarding their place but theyre in a diff realm…

General chat? Though I assume that only works when you’re both online and in the neighborhood (not inside a house).

House interior needs a chat channel. Something as simple as throwing out a “hey can someone take a look at my fireplace and give a second opinion on it” would be a huge social addition.

Couldn’t you just invite the people in your house to party to circumvent any cross-faction language barrier or /say range limitations?
A neighborhood channel does sound useful (one can always opt out if not interested like /leave 7).

Exactly. Why on Earth wouldn’t they have a neighborhood chat at the very least from within the home
Does it even work? I’ve never seen people say anything, even on launch day. I was pretty sure my active trade chat would move to the neighbourhood.
We were chatting while in housing during Beta ..which channel was that then?
General chat was working while in the neighborhood at least. If you go into your house it probably doesn’t.
I just dropped into Founders point with my Pally to get her the axe to farm lumber…it shows there is a General Chat and a Local Defense channels for founders point..they should work.
During Beta we were in our homes and able to chat with others ..can’t remember the channel which was used but we also could see trade chat if I remember right.
Is it limited to your neighbourhood or shared between them all?
It’s just so very quiet. With all the people there you’d think it would develop into a new Barrens chat.
