PVPing in Thaladraszus, End up having to retreat and Goblin Gliding away. Ret pally goblin glides after me. We have a sky battle on gliders and I run out of hover charges…
The Dragon (Sky Lizard) can’t cast while moving on the glider while the Retribution Paladin range attacks me from 20 yards under I die.
It’s just disappointing when a Dragon cant cast while flying… This really doesn’t have anything to do with anything in particular – just a bit of sadness and disappointment at a spec that doesn’t fit with general lore…

Aside from the fact that you should’ve cancelled glider the moment you hovered, casters can’t cast while moving, more at 11.

I’ve encountered this problem many times. Not only is the short range of evoker unfairly limited in PvP, paladin have been buffed far out of proportion in terms of their ranged skills (it is far more powerful than any other melee class that I know of) and it is common to see them win battles using this obvious advantage since so many ranged classes use abilities to keep them ranged.

I was killing horde in thal and ended up killing 20 of them without dying. Had a chase where they were trying to get my for like 10 minutes just because i was gliding and then using Hover to heal up while jumping off cliffs. Moral of the story is don’t fight a paladin no matter if it’s water, land, or air you lose always 
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders, the most famous is never get involved in a ranged war with paladins.
