A thought crossed my mind since WoW has a glaring issue with the vote kick and early leaver situation.
FFXIV commendations. WoW players on average have been conditioned to really only do things for some sort of intrinsic value. If a commendation system was put into place for players with a long term rewards track it could really help curb a lot of the issues(at least with some players)
What are your thoughts GD?
What kind of rewards were you thinking of?
Mounts, tmogs, toys, battle pets. Mostly cosmetic stuff cus it wouldn’t make sense to add power stuff to a long form reward track that’ll span multiple expacs.
It would only fix a small portion of the “group think” problem where the tank initiates it and the sheeple fall in line to avoid the boot. It would be unfair to have the system in groups with any pre-comp since you could just boost buddies. Also let’s be REAL honest about the WoW community. We all know if this got added within a day we would see:

I’m FFXIV you can’t commend people you queue with. They could do the same here.
Possibly. I just inherently assume WoW’s systems are too dated to accommodate.
I just inherently assume WoW’s dev team is too incompetent to fully adapt this sort of system so it would be rife with abuse.
